Interior Painting in Red Deer
Walls, ceilings, trim and feature walls repainted properly — prep, paint and clean-up included — for homes and businesses across Red Deer and Central Alberta.
Interior painting is the quickest way to change how a room feels, and the least disruptive renovation you can do — no demolition, no permits, and you have your space back in days rather than weeks.
What an interior repaint covers
Walls, ceilings, trim, doors and feature walls. Prep is part of the job, not an extra: furniture and floors get covered, edges get masked, and surfaces are cleaned, filled and sanded before any paint goes on.
Edges and corners are cut in by hand. Larger open areas and ceilings are rolled or sprayed, whichever gives the better finish for the surface. Where a colour change needs more than one coat to cover properly, it gets more than one coat — that is part of the quoted price, not an extra.
Rooms we are asked for most
- Living rooms, dining rooms and hallways
- Bedrooms, including children’s rooms
- Kitchens and bathrooms, where the finish has to stand up to moisture
- Basements and stairwells
- Trim, baseboards, doors and door frames
- Feature walls and interior brick
Choosing colours
Most people arrive with a rough idea and not much more, which is completely normal. We work with Cloverdale, Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams. If you already have a brand, finish or colour in mind, tell us and we will work with it. If you want to see a colour on your own wall before committing, get a sample pot and look at it in both daylight and lamplight — the same colour can read very differently between the two.
Living in the house while we work
Most interior work is done room by room so you keep the use of the rest of the house. Tell us which rooms you need available and when, and we will plan the order around that.
Getting a price
Estimates are free and carry no obligation. We look at the space, talk through what you want, and give you a clear price. It helps if you can tell us roughly how many rooms, whether ceilings and trim are included, and whether you are changing colour dramatically — a deep colour going light takes more coats than a shade-for-shade refresh.
Questions about interior painting in red deer
Do I need to move the furniture out?
No. Move small and fragile items if you can, and we will move and cover the rest. Tell us about anything heavy or awkward when we quote so we can plan for it.
Can you paint over a dark colour?
Yes. Going from a deep colour to a light one takes more coats and sometimes a primer coat first. We allow for that in the quote rather than discovering it halfway through.
Do you paint ceilings and trim as well as walls?
Yes — walls, ceilings, trim, doors and baseboards. Tell us what you want included and the quote reflects exactly that.
Do you do the filling and patching too?
Yes. Filling, sanding and masking are part of the job. Larger damage is drywall repair, which we also handle.
